The Energy Lives On

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since the Renew Our Power Gathering – and the energy from that week is still with us. From Brazil to Bangladesh, Indonesia to South Africa, hundreds of us came together, both online and in person, to dream, build, and organise for a just energy future.

Across time zones and languages, we shared stories, strategies, and solidarity. We listened to community leaders who are creating renewable energy solutions grounded in justice and equity. We witnessed how art, music, and culture can fuel our movements and remind us why we fight for change. We made powerful commitments to organise for energy systems that serve people – not profit.

We also took to the streets. Alongside Indigenous communities, we marched and raised our voices to demand action from the COP30 President – and we didn’t stop there. We delivered our petition directly into his hands to make sure our demands couldn’t be ignored.

If you missed any of it, don’t worry. You can still catch the energy and inspiration.

And this is just the beginning. Many of the participants and leaders from the gathering are already bringing the momentum back to their communities: launching new campaigns, building local energy solutions, and organising for change. We’ll keep you updated on the powerful work they’re leading and share their stories as they unfold.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Rewatch, reflect, and share the panels that moved you. Because when we organise together, across borders and differences, we are powerful.
